“Idioteque”, música presente em um dos discos mais controversos do Radiohead, o Kid A, é geralmente descrita pelos fãs como uma canção apocalíptica, já que faz referências a desastres naturais, guerras e o fim da tecnologia. Thom Yorke, líder do grupo, já admitiu que muitas das suas letras são inspiradas nas mudanças climáticas que se intensificaram no planeta ao longo dos últimos anos. “Nós não estamos sendo alarmistas, isso está mesmo acontecendo, acontecendo”, diz a letra.
