The Groove Concept:
Associate producers
A new Brazilian company which has been making its mark in the entertainment market, set up by musicians and music fans, the Groove Concept puts on events and festivals that have its own style and it sees the show business market from its own perspective. The company believes that shows can be much more than just the music and can offer the audience an unique and unforgettable experience. As well as putting on megaconcerts with the top names of local and universal rock and pop, producing festivals and shows throughout South America, it works to create links between bands and special concepts, bringing together in a single event, art, culture and sustainability, an unique approach, which has been storming the Brazilian market.
An example of this new way of looking at entertainment was the Maquinaria Festival, that caught the attention of Brazil in 2009. The venue Chácara do Jockey, in São Paulo, was the scene of a true musical marathon. On the 7th and 8th November, 19 bands appeared on stage at the festival, which also included urban art and sustainable action. More than 40,000 fans were able to experience an European style Festival with top national and international names like Faith No More, Jane’s Addiction, Evanescence, Sepultura, Deftones, Panic! At The Disco and Nação Zumbi, among many other attractions. The first showing of this event took place in 2008 and was attended by thousands who saw over 30 attractions at the Espaço das Américas in São Paulo.
This The Groove Concept, a new and innovative company that has been gathering fans abroad with great events such as the Maquinaria Festival. In 2010 the Festival takes place in the city of Santiago, Chile.
